Egg DropReflection1) STRATEGIC LEARNERS
We recognize the important part of this project which is to create a model which will drop 5 eggs from 4 floors without breaking. At first we had used straws as our model, but the eggs cracked. Therefore, we had improved it into balloons which decreases the momentum and help the eggs landed softly. We had searched the internet on the best ways to drop eggs. 2) INNOVATIVE THINKERS We had build on other ideas and are able to explain why their model works or did not work. We are able to analyze, evaluate, and solve issues that occur with our model. We had also came up with ideas on how to use the most less amount of money possible. 3) ARTICULATE COMMUNICATORS We listen to one another and had create posters to present our work. We had also discuss among one another on how to create the best model and search the internet on the previous experiment to develop our model further. 4) LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE We have a very good teamwork in buying the materials and conducting our model. We work through our differences and accept our friends’ decisions. We were able to help gave one another useful feedbacks.

Quantitative Analysis LabReflection1) STRATEGIC LEARNERS
We recognize the importance part of this project which is to learn how to calculate the concentration and absorbance of a substance. Throughout the experiment, we are able to learn from our mistakes and keep improving it to make it the most accurate as possible. We had only 2-3 classes to conduct this experiment, so we have to manage our time wisely. 2) INNOVATIVE THINKERS We had to be able to explain why we had calculated the substance the way we did and had to analyze and evaluate why it had been that way. We had use the high quality lab equipments to calculate the absorbance. 3) ARTICULATE COMMUNICATORS We had listen to our friends and discussed on how to work and had use our weebly to display this project online. 4) LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE Together as a team, we work through various of the obstacles and work through our differences to accept each others’ decisions. I recognize the importance part of the chapter which is to prove question that people have in sciences and is able to reflect on the mistakes that was made throughout the experiment. While conducting these projects, little time was given. Therefore, we would have to learn how to manage our time. Not only learning how to manage our time, but we also have to use our computer to conduct further research in order to apply it to our work. 2) INNOVATIVE THINKERS We have to build on previous ideas and come up with explanations to the reason that we choose a particular method to conduct in each experiment. We have to analyze, evaluate, and solve the problem given by our teacher. It had to be creative and original. 3) ARTICULATE COMMUNICATORS We listen to others, write our flow chart and posters, and present our work. We were able to explain and clarify our methods to our friends. Furthermore, I had posted these work into weebly so that others can view my work. 4) LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE We work together as a team to create the most successful experiment. We work through our differences and accept our team members decisions. We help one another give out best feedbacks to help improve the project. We had searched from the internet for other previous experiments to gain more ideas. |
