We were assigned to work in groups to create a doumentary video. We were able to pick any species of animal and create a video about its migrating and foraging behaviours. Based on the ESLOs, this project help us earn several elements which includes STRAGETIC LEARNERS in which we had to use computers to do research and select important information that we would like to include in our video. At the beginning, we had to plan whether what type of style we wanted our video to be. After we decided that we wanted it as some type of puppet show, we began searching for cliparts in order to finish it as fast as possible. We printed them out, cutted them, and laminated them. Without wasting time, we started filming them and editted it. INNOVATIVE THINKERS in which we wanted to make a video that is unique and different from others. We asked our classmates on which type of videos they would make and from that we created a video that is different from others. Using our computer, we used imovie to make edits and add in transition to make our video flow smoothly. ARTICULATE COMMUNICATORS in which we listen to every members in our group to find the best ideas and solution to complete the video. We had to create a script on what we would speak and record our voices to add into the video. Our voices would explain the details that we wanted to claritfy or tell the viewer of our video. LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE in which our group work together to acheive a common goal which is to make the video as good as possible that we could. In the process of creating this video, there might be some differences in ideas of how we want the video to be. However, we talked to one another and accept the differences in ideas that we had and successfully agreed on the best idea that each of us suggested.
